County Councillor Carol Cavill's Report
July 2009
Affordable Housing
The recommended planning condition adopted by Pembrokeshire County Council
is that on development land over 0.75 hectares where planning permission is
being applied for, there will be a condition that there must be an element
of affordable housing.
Bus Shelter
The area for the new bus shelter opposite Brambles lodge has been marked
out and so should be completed soon. I have a copy of the plans
Litter picking and litter bin emptying
The litter bins are emptied every day. Manual litter picking takes place
every 6 to 8 weeks but at this moment in time, as the new schedule have not
been completed, it is not possible to say exactly when this is done. It is
hoped that the new schedules will be completed soon. Starting at the end of
July or the beginning of August, the new sweeper used in Tenby will be
deployed to sweep through Penally every Saturday afternoon.
Directions for Pedestrians
I have received a copy of the proposed signs directing pedestrians walking
to and from Tenby down Four Winds Lane so avoiding the narrow, bendy road
with no pavements passed the Paddock Inn.
Access on the Village Green
The Access Officer feels that there is only one solution and has produced a
picture to that effect.
