Bye Laws concerning dogs

The law has changed this year concerning the control of dogs. With the
co-operation of Community Councils and the community, it is possible for the
County council to designate areas as either no dog fouling, dogs on leads
only, no dogs. Enforcement of this would be the main difficulty.

As far as playing fields are concerned, as there is public access to these,
it is quite in order to place “No dog fouling signs”. The county Council
are out of stock at the moment but they should be available very soon.
