The Rainbow Run 2009

Our intention is to collect 8 Land Rovers, fill them with supplies and drive them to Gambia where they will be passed to the local communities for their own use. To avoid any misconception and connection with military vehicles in Gambia, the fleet will be individually painted in light colours.
Hence the concept - The Rainbow Run.

Support is currently being sourced from Land Rover, Barclay's Bank, Stena, Texaco and other sources and additional support is most welcome by way of donation, or sponsorship. We are seeking donations of Land Rovers (any condition), Land Rover spare parts, toys and medical, or school supplies and all donations will be most welcome. This project intends to build and staff a new school and sink a new well for drinking water as well as deliver the vehicles and supplies. The anticipated cost is £40,000
